What do you do outside of the Four Hearts Foundation?
I work in a family business with my husband. I also take care of my son who just started kindergarten, so I am kept busy with his schooling and sporting activities (swimming and soccer).
Have any pets of your own?
Boomer, a lovable 10 year old black mutt that is part chow/ part lab, we think! He's a 60lb sweetie that thinks he's a lap dog. We adopted him in 1997 from the Belleville Area Humane Society.

Sneakers, a 10 year old flame point Siamese cat that was found wondering in our backyard in 1999. He's a very loving cat and actually comes when you call him!
Why did you get involved with the Four Hearts?
I left Belleville Humane Society in 2005 to spend more time with my son, but I was not ready to stop helping animals. I had just lost my dog Charlie and could not think of a better way to serve his memory than to do work in his honor.
What do you hope to achieve?
I want to help numerous animals have better lives. I want the animals to have a voice, even if it is only one at a time!
What are you most proud of when it comes to the Four Hearts Foundation?
Helping each individual animal that we have. Knowing that because of Four Hearts, an animal has a better life, be it by a spay/ neuter, or an injury that was treated.

Why did you get involved with Four Hearts?
I wanted to make a difference in the pet overpopulation problem. All you have to do is walk into a shelter to realize how vast the problem is.

What are you most proud of when it comes to the Four Hearts Foundation?
I am most proud of the fact that we spayed and neutered 37 cats at Four Hearts Spay Day 2007!
